There are some conditions that come along with whether a vehicle might be covered under CA lemon law and generally, if a motor vehicle is bought new or used and is employed primarily as a conveyance for a single household it is covered under the law. In addition, new motor vehicles must weigh less than ten thousand pounds if it is a vehicle that is otherwise used for business dealings in any sort of company, partnership or limited liability situation. More than five vehicles cannot be used by that company in order for vehicles to be covered under the state's lemon law.
